Sorry, I couldn't help but post this on here! This is probably my favorite thing I've ever written. Not saying it's good or anything; it's just my favorite. It's a fanfiction of Harry Potter (& the Deathly Hallows) Er, it takes place right after Snape finds out Lily had died (which isn't in the books, it describes it sorta in the chapter The Prince's Tale, though.) Anyways, this story basically flooded out of me. Couldn't help writing it, couldn't help posting it. :) AND I'M POSTING IT ON HERE FOR YOU TO READ, SAM AND EMILY! EVEN THOUGH YOU WON'T READ IT! :( Heh!

Severus Snape looked around at the remains of the Potter household. Crumpled and destroyed, it sat defeated in Godrics Hollow. Nobody was to touch it, he had heard that it was going to be left in it it's ruined state as a memorial. Would people look upon this grave and remember the Potters? Or would they be only thinking of (and fearing) the Dark Lord? As for Snape, all he could think about was the one who died in this house. Not Harry and certainly not James, but Lily. Lily Evans.
He begged. He begged the Dark Lord to have mercy on her, but she did not receive any. How often had he heard the Dark Lord reassuring him that those who help him, he will be merciful and kind to? He had not kept his promise. Lily Evans was dead. Dead. He just couldn't believe it. A tear fell down Severus's cheek and landed soundlessly on the floor. Dead.
He remembered those times as kids. Watching her on the playground, swinging blissfully with her sister. He remembered her long, dark red hair, flowing swiftly in the wind, nearly flag-like, only just touching the ground if she leaned back too far. Her Muggle sister, Petunia, was nothing in comparison. Not by looks, and not by talents.
He remembered the forest, and the stream, telling Lily all he knew about magic- about dementors, the Ministry, Azkaban and about Hogwarts school. He'd never seen her so fascinated, so curious and talkative. He could have spent forever there, just simply talking to her and watching her. How did he become so lucky as to have Lily Evans in his life?
As he remembered, that luck was short lived. Complications arose as soon as school had started. Severus, although he knew he would be even before he arrived at school, was Sorted to Slytherin and Lily was sorted to Gryffindor. He thought that Lily would fit into any school, really. She had the brains and wit to be in Ravenclaw, the nerve and courage to be in Gryffindor (although, he had really hoped she'd be Sorted into any other school besides this one), she had the loyalty to be in Hufflepuff and she was cunning and ambitious, as to be in Slytherin. She wasn't a pure-blooded wizard, though. That was the only reason, Severus had thought, that she wasn't placed in Slytherin along with him.
Being in two different schools set up an whole new realm of complications. They had different classes and completely friends. But the biggest complication of them all would be the rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor. Severus knew Lily was constantly being badgered on why she even talked to him, let alone, shared friendship. He as well, was often was teased.
"Can't make friends in this school, is that why you talking to a Gryffindor?"
"I bet she only talks to you because she pities you."
"She is out of your league, you stupid git, even if she is from Gryffindor."
But worst of all, "Severus, why do you waist your time talking to that stupid Mudblood?"
He was the one that reassured her that she would not be judged, would not be looked down upon, if she wasn't pureblood. If Lily found out that he was wrong, or if she accused him of lying, Severus didn't know what he would do. He did not want to lose Lily as a friend.
But of course, his worst fears came true as time passed. Severus made mistakes, mistakes that cost their friendship. But he never gave up on her. A day never passed when Lily had not entered his mind. He watched her from afar, watched her grow even further away from him and even closer to that James Potter. He never liked James Potter much to begin with, but now he felt nothing but uncontrollable resentment. He hated how he was the school's hero, winning Quidditch games right and left. He hated how arrogantly he strode down the hallways, head held high like he owned the place. He hated how he saved his life from the Whomping Willow, and how he managed to sweep Lily off her feet. He absolutely hated him for marrying Lily, for taking her, and he even felt a pang of resentment towards the child that they bore together. It wasn't fair how James swooped in and took the life Severus only dreamed about.
And it certainly wasn't fair that now Lily Evans was dead.
It wasn't fair that now he'd never see her laughing face, the way the sunlight filtered in through the trees and lit her hair up, as if it was on fire, like soft, cheerful candle flames. He tried hard not to think of her eyes. Her warm, green eyes. They would never ensnare him ever again.
There were days, before her death, that he would think about clearing his mind completely of Lily. Some days, he'd get as close to holding his wand to his head, only needing to mutter a single word: 'Obliverate.' But he couldn't do it. Now that she had passed and moved on to a world, he was glad he hadn't. He couldn't bear the thought of not having her in his life, even as memories. He would always need her in his life, even though she wasn't alive herself.
He was glad Voldemort had been defeated. It was her and her son who ultimately defeated him. If Voldemort hadn't died, Severus would be sure to make it his life goal to kill him. Dumbledore had made Severus a spy for him previously, so he wasn't new to Voldemort's tricks of trade. If by some miracle he had survived, and Severus desperately wished he hadn't, Severus and Dumbledore would create a plan to defeat him once and for all. For Lily.
Cold, aching sadness filled Severus. He could not spend anymore time here; or else he'd lose his mind. He couldn't-he refused to- accept the fact that Lily was gone; actually gone, never to walk the earth again. He couldn't control the stream of fresh tears that fell from his eyes. It was like losing her all over again. First, losing her to Potter, and secondly, losing her to death. He wasn't sure which was worst.
Slowly, he withdrew his wand from his pocket. From inside his head, he saw Lily's smile. Her bright green eyes lighting up as it spread across her face. The sadness consumed Severus once again. She's gone, he had to keep reminding himself, you'll never see her do that ever again.
He squeezed his eyes shut, a tear emanating from the corner of his eye. "Expecto patronus," he whispered, the words hardly passing his lips.
From the tip of his wand, a great silver doe sprang onto the soft turf. It leaped a few yards and then looked back. Severus couldn't take it anymore- he dropped to his knees, defeated.
"Lily…"
The doe paused for a minute, glowing brilliantly. Severus knelt there, tears streaming down his cheeks. He wanted to die. He wanted it all to end. He wanted to be with Lily again, and if death was the price, he would pay it.
At last, the doe turned back around and leaped gracefully through the forest, and just as Lily; was gone.

Book Reccomendations.
I'm bored. I had somewhat of a crappy day today, and I find that reading helps me escape my problems. Lots of others feel the same way. Henceforth, I'm making this book recommendation list! So, if you ever run out of things to read, I'm sure you'll find something from this list entertaining. Also, I LOVE books that let me escape into a different world. I hate those stupid teeny-crap books about boyfriends and high school drama. I already get enough of it as it is. So, most of this list is fiction and fantasy, because it PWNS all.
Not necessarilyy in order, but my favorites reign towards the top.
1. The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. (The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay.)
2. Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. If you've never read these books, you haven't LIVED.
3. The Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan. A bit childish, like, probably a middle school reading range, but, great books. You've just gotta love the characters.
4. The Maximum Ride novels by James Patterson. Well, hmm. These books aren't exactly written the best, but, they're very entertaining. These books are good for someone in 7th, 8th or 9th grade. Basically, these kids are delinquents, so they don't use the best language and act like, well, kids. Most likely, you'll be able to relate to one or more character in this book. Also, the word "freaking" is continually used in context in this series.
5. Unwind by Neal Shusterman. This book is amazing! Although, it's for mostly older kids.
6. The Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley Armstrong (The Summoning, the Awakening, the Reckoning.) Mostly for mature girls, who like to read about supernatural romances and stuff. Has to do with ghosts, werewolves and witches. It's a great read, though.
7. Graceling by Kristin Cashore. ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOKS! A must-read for any girl. I lovelovelove it! I've read it more times than Twi-hearts have read Twilight, I'm sure.
8.East by Edith Pattou. This book is amazing. It combines old legends and a romance into a book that any girl would love to read. It's not overly fluffy, and it has lots of adventure.
9. Impossible by Nancy Werblin. Based on a song, the Scarbourough Fair, it's a romance that'll appeal to many teen girl readers. It's also one of my favorites. Heck, I would say Graceling, East and Impossible all fall into the same category. Sort of the same light, romance-y thing goin on, but including action and adventure. It's great!
10. If I Stay by Gayle Forman. This is one of the saddest books I've ever read!
Hmm, all I can think of from the top of my head. I'll be sure to add on as I read more!

DOOD. Don't you just LOVE Harry Potter? I'm not even kidding. I just wanna marry him. Well, not really, but you get it. Anyways, I'm (re)reading the books, and I JUST LOVE THEM! Like, more than life! Although, it's a little slow in the beginning. But oh well. Plus, I just love how it's in England. I want to go to the UK SOO FREAKING BAD. I wish I had a British accent. :P
Anyways, I just love how many other Harry Potter things there are out there. Like, there's Potter Puppet pals on Youtube (refrenced in picture!), there's a Very Potter Musical (which I've only seen parts of), there's a crap-load of merchindice you can buy including: wands, horcruxes, spellbooks, shirts (which I have!), time-turners, Liquid Luck necklaces, jackets, scarves and fleeces. Also, who doesn't want to go to Harry Potter world in Flordia?!
Dood, I just read the part in the Deathy Hallows where it explains Lily and James' death from Voldy's point of view. I BAWLED MY FREAKING EYES OUT. So sad! Ugh. I feel like a noob. :)
I guess I'm just an a tad over-obsessed. Hah!
OCTO REPARUM!
WINGARDIAN LEVIOSIA!
CRUCIO!

ADAVA KEDEVRA!

Black Friday
NEVER AGAIN am I going shopping on Black Friday. First of all, who wants to wake up super early just to buy stuff? Like, okay, there's good deals and all, but is it really worth getting up super freaking early for? Not to mention, the lines. Half the time your waiting in line and there's annoying people behind you, or kids running around the store with bouncy balls, or angry psycho-mums picking fights with other angry psycho-mums. And then, the cashier people are just ridiculous, and they're machines break down and they don't how what the heck to do. But seriously. I'd rather just purchase the item for full price! But, I did get the Half-Blood Prince for only 13 dollars, so that was a good deal. ;D
And the stores this year decided to open even earlier. Toys R Us opened at 10 and Walmart opened at 12. I was at Walmart at 12, and it basically was a mad house. Everyone was sleep deprived and grumpy. And it's like people are 'on a mission.' It's kind of amusing to watch them speed walk through the stores. Of course, that's pointless because then they have to wait in line for a year or two.
I finally made it home at 5:30 this morning, and I headed straight to bed, only to wake up at 1 something or other. And now, I have a helluva headache and I'm freaking exhausted. So yeah, I'm defiantly NOT doing that again next year.
